Lebanon, PA - Credit & Collections Manager
APR Supply currently has a Full-time opportunity in our Lebanon, PA corporate office for a qualified Credit & Collections Manager.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
This newly developed, full-time position will manage credit and collection activities for all company locations. Duties include:
- Develop, implement & maintain systems, procedures and policies for credit & collection functions
- Recommend credit limits and handle special credit arrangements and problem accounts
- Develop collection strategies by identifying causes for delinquency & implementing appropriate strategies
- Place accounts on credit hold; and work closely with management when existing customers are put on credit hold
- Analyze AR aging for overdue accounts
- Personally call on customers to collect past due balances
- Point of contact with collection attorneys
- Apply payment on accounts, support account department activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years credit & collection experience
- Knowledge of legal/bankruptcy procedures
- Effective verbal & written communication skills
- BA degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or related area
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
- Computer expertise in Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to prioritize & manage info/data/tasks
- Strong research and analysis skills
